Annique Rooibos Products was established in 1971 by its founder, Dr Annique Theron.. Since then the company has developed an extensive skincare and health care range of products based on the unique qualities of the indigenous herbal plant, Rooibos. The qualities of this plant was discovered and recorded in her book by Dr Theron in 1968, "Allergies, an Amazing Discovery", and since then thousands of people have benefitted from the results of her discovery and subsequent research.

Annique Rooibos Products are the triple gold winner of the International Inventions Exhibition in Geneva for Annique Theron's remarkable discovery (in 1968) of Rooibos' internal and external anti-allergic qualities, and the application of her Aspalathus linearis extract in skin care and health care products.

Annique Theron was awarded the Best Woman Inventor of the Year for these discoveries and the relief it brought to thousands of mothers with allergic babies.

Annique Theron impressed me quite, for we had gotten the idea for a video opening (to a show I was doing the a/v for) at the last moment, and she listened to the idea, went to her computer immediately and wrote the entire 2 minute greeting in no time at all. We filmed it immediately. Seldom do you find somebody that quick and great to work with. She's a very effective person.
