Young Talent is a television series of shorts that have aired on K-TV, Go & M-net during the years 2003 - 2007. The project caters for all cultural and musical genres, to come on stage and show their stuff to win some awesome prizes, both regionally and of course on a grand scale at Carnival City during a grande finale! Come follow the search for the talent of South Africa! The first episode that introduces the viewer to the Young Talent project.

Young Talent visits the East Rand to check out the talent that may be invited to come and compete for the big prizes at Carnival City. With the East Rand Mall near the Johannesburg International Airport hosting the event, an exciting two days soon showed that the East Rand is not only a gold mine of gold, but also of young talent!
